Making & managing your booking

How do I find and book my vacation home?

All of our vacation homes are listed on this website. When you find something you like, click “Check availability” which takes you to our designated booking page.

How do I pay securely for my booking?

Your payments securely processed through our booking site. We accept Mastercard and Visa.

Why do I need to make a deposit payment, when the booking is fully refundable up until 30 days prior to arrival?

We need a deposit in order to hold your booking. In case you do cancel before the non-refundable period, you will receive your deposit in full.

Can I change a booking?

Yes! You can change or cancel your booking up until 30 days prior to your arrival. Free of charge. Please write us on service@intothisplace.com, so we can help you.

I need to cancel my booking. What do I do?

If you booked directly with us, you should send us an email at service@intothisplace.com.
If you booked through a booking platform like Booking.com or AIRBNB you should cancel on that platform. If you need to cancel after the free cancelation period is over we will try and resell the apartment and refund you the balance if it resells.

Where can I find details about my booking?

When you make a booking, you will receive a confirmation email with all the information you need. Please check your spam filter, if you haven’t received it in your inbox.In this email, you will also find a link to your digital welcome booklet that also contains a curated visitor’s guide to your new neighborhood.

Can I change my reservation during the trip?

Maybe. Please write us on service@intothisplace.com and we will try our best to accommodate any changes you might want during your stay. But please keep in mind that we are usually fully booked throughout most of the year.

Are there any advantages of booking straight through your website?

When you book directly on our website, you are always guaranteed the lowest price.

Will I be staying in a private home?

No. All vacation homes on Into This Place are owned and serviced by us. Unlike many other rental companies, we go to great lengths to add individuality and personal touches to every apartment. They are designed to make you feel at home – not make you feel like you are visiting someone else’s place.

Do you rent out for longer terms?

From November and thru April we can rent out for a period of maximum 3 months. Prices starting at 25.000 DKK/month. Please contact us for details.
It is not possible to register an official address at any of our apartments.

Do you also rent out the apartments for events or parties?

Unfortunately, we do not.

I can’t find the information I am looking for about a specific apartment. Can you help?

Which of your apartments are suitable for wheelchairs?

Our apartments “By The Beach 1 – 5” are all wheelchair accessible.

Before your arrival

Can we store our luggage in the apartment before checking in?

As we are fully occupied almost all year, we can only offer luggage storage in the actual apartment depending on availability. Please ask for drop off from 12:00 and we will let you know if it’s possible. Please be aware that our cleaning team needs the space to prepare nicely for you, so please just drop your luggage and come back after 15:00.

We do have other great services in Copenhagen like www.luggagehero.com. They use local shops, cafés and restaurants for storage, so you can usually find a place close to your apartment as well. You will get a 50% discount by using the coupon code: Boutique
Another option is www.airluggage.dk. They will bring your luggage from the airport to your apartment or the other way around. They will even check in your luggage at the airport for you.

Can we get an early check-in?

Early check-in depends on availability. Please ask us, and we will check if the apartment is ready for you.

Can I bring my pet to the apartment?

Unfortunately, we do not allow pets in any of our apartments.

What type of included supplies can I expect to find at the apartment?

We do our best to keep you covered on most essentials. You can always expect fresh bed linen and towels, tea, coffee, cooking essentials (salt, pepper, sugar, oil etc.) toilet paper, cleaning products, waste bags, dishwasher tabs and tea towels.

Do you provide fresh linen and towels?

Yes, of course. Before your arrival, our property managers have put fresh linen on all beds in the apartment. If there is a sofa bed, there will be fresh linen for this as well. We provide two towels for each guest. Please let us know if you require extra linen or towels during your stay.

Can you provide baby equipment like baby cots and highchairs?

Yes. We provide baby cots and highchairs free of charge upon request and availability.

Can I bring extra guests to my vacation home?

Please let us know as soon as possible if you will be more people than you originally booked for. This will result in a small additional fee per day, per person and will ensure that every guest receives towels, linen, etc. You are never allowed to exceed the maximum capacity of the apartment you have booked.

Can I request additional services for my stay?

Yes, we will always do our best to help. Please let us know as soon as possible, so we can make the proper arrangements. Please note that we cannot guarantee that a service will be available.

Can you help out with grocery deliveries?

We recommend the online supermarket www.Nemlig.com. If you need help putting in an order, we will be happy to assist you.

Do you offer a laundry service? Is there a washer/dryer in the apartment?

Only a few of our apartments have a washer and dryer. Please check the list of amenities on the specific apartment to find out. For reliable laundry and dry cleaning service, we recommend Washa. Washa is by far the best solution for dry cleaning, suit pressing and regular laundry service at prices that are lower than regular hotel service. Please make your booking online via www.dk.washa.com

Do you provide parking spaces?

We don’t offer private parking spaces but recommend your closest or easiest option in our digital guestbook, which is sent to your inbox when your booking is paid and confirmed.

Checking in

How do I check into my vacation home?

It’s easy. You check in yourself using the directions from the digital guestbook, which is sent to you when your booking is paid and confirmed.

Do you have a reception?

We do not have a reception or 24/7 onsite staff. So it’s important that you read the check-in instructions before your arrival. Of course, we are always within reach, in case you need our assistance.

Where do I find my personal passcode for the door or keybox?

We will send you the code for the keybox or door via email and SMS a few of days before your arrival.

I don’t know my exact arrival time, is that a problem?

Not at all, self-check-in is part of our concept. Your apartment is ready for you from 15:00 and you can check in any time after that with your personal passcode. You receive the passcode via email and SMS a few days prior to your arrival.

I can’t find the wifi password. Where is it?

No need to worry. You will find wifi details (and plenty of other useful information) in the guestbook placed in the apartment.

Is the wifi fast enough for streaming movies in good quality like HD?

Yes. Our wifi networks normally offer download speeds at around 30 Mb/s.

Why are there dishes in the dishwasher?

You may arrive at an apartment with the dishwasher running, or perhaps it has just finished with clean dishes still inside. A dishwasher runs for about 2 – 3 hours and it’s not always that it has finished before the cleaning team needs to go to another apartment.

Does the apartment come with bikes or do you offer bike rentals?

We do not have bikes but can always recommend a nearby bike rental service or a bike tour company. Bikes are certainly the best way to explore Copenhagen.

I accidentally broke something in the apartment.
What should I do?

Accidents happen. No worries. Please contact us at service@intothisplace.com or +45 71 74 74 28 so we can sort it out.

Can you help us out?

Sure thing. You will find our personal recommendations for sightseeing and local tips to the area in the digital and physical guestbook. For specific things, you can’t find in the booklet, you are always welcome to contact us directly.

Does the apartment have air conditioning?

Our apartments do not have A/C. Luckily, this is very rarely needed in Copenhagen that usually only averages just 3 tropical nights a year. Most of the bedrooms have a large ceiling or wall fan.

Can we get daily cleaning?

Sure, we can arrange for extra cleaning or even daily cleaning for an additional fee. If you stay more than 3 days, we do change out your towels and one extra cleaning can be arranged for free.

Do you offer cable TV or Netflix?

The flatscreen in your apartment is connected to an Apple TV with free Netflix. You can watch and download movies in Itunes, watch DR (Danish public broadcast) or download other apps to watch whatever you want.

We would like to order some food or drinks to the apartment. How do we do that?

‘Roomservice’ is a fast and reliable delivery service with a handpicked selection of great restaurants around the city. It's quick and easy and available in English. www.roomservice.dk

Do you provide or recommend any babysitter services?

Yes we do. We recommend several depending on the needed service. Please get in touch with us directly.

Where can we smoke?

All of our properties are 100% non-smoking facilities. If you do need to smoke, please exit the apartment and go all the way to the street as upstairs neighbors can be affected if you smoke close to the building. Any evidence of smoking in the apartment will result in a €500 fee. Thank you for your cooperation.

Checking out & departure

We're ready to leave. How do you check out?

When you leave, please place all the keys in the keybox and scramble the code to lock it.

You can leave any rubbish in the apartment or help us out by taking it out to the outside bins.

Can we leave our luggage in the apartment after check-out?

As a courtesy to the guests that are most likely arriving later in the day, we cannot offer luggage storage in the apartment unless isn’t booked. Feel free to check with us, and we will see if it’s possible.

I forgot something in the place I stayed in. What should I do?

Please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to recover the item and get it back to you.

Do I need to clean the place before I leave?

We would be grateful if you would leave the place in the same condition as you received it. Just a quick tidy up will do. This makes everything so much easier for the property managers who come in to clean and prepare for our next guests. Thank you for your help.
